How You Can Help Our medical team depends on charitable contributions to complete its missions.  The team consists entirely of volunteers, so your support goes directly where it matters the most -- the victims of land mines and war.  We've listed five ways you can make a difference: Financial Support Donate Stocks or Other Securities Sponsor a Mission-to-Order Stay Informed and Sign Up for Our Newsletter

1. Financial Support
         Donations are fully tax decuctibe.

Almost all of RRI's support comes from small individual donations, so your contribution counts.  Here's the difference your contribution makes:

• $5,000 sends a three-man surgical team anywhere in the world for two weeks.
• $1,000 sends a doctor to Bosnia
• $500 pays for shipping a year's worth of medical supplies to a clinic in Central America
• $100 provides anesthetics for ten operations
• $10 provides intravenous rehydration for  five children stricken with cholera.

Send anything you can - the need is so great that any contribution - no matter how small it may seem to you - can make a big difference.  Make a commitment or find out where to send a contribution.

2. Donate Stocks or Other Securities
        Donations are fully tax decuctibe. 

Click here to transfer stock, stock options, bonds or other securities to our new brokerage account. We have an agent at Solomon Smith Barney who will handle all the paperwork so the transfer is done without taking your time.

3. Sponsor a Mission-To-Order 

If there is a particular part of the world that concerns you or your organization,  you can submit a brief description of what you would like to accomplish and RRI will plan a relief operation which you can finance.  A rough guideline for estimating costs for a two-week mission is $250 per team member plus airfare, with a minimum of four team members.  Please send an email to: info@refugeerelief.org

4. Stay Informed and Sign Up for Our Update

Aside from keeping up with current events in the region, one easy way to understand the situation in Burma is to rent the movie "Beyond Rangoon" starring Patricia Arquette.  It gives a good glimpse into the human rights situation in Burma, the only country in the world in which owning a fax machine is illegal!
